Thanks Mark.Nice to see you again!

That would explain why Amazon themselves don't actually have it for sale.

The Sony STONE KILLER that's sold on Amazon is actually a Dutch import.

Sorry wee guy in HMV las week, you were right.....
'Naw pal we've no goat that oan oor system like.....ye mibbe be abal tae get it aff the website bit..'

Nice transfer of a decent Bronson movie.
He was definetly better playing the sadistic bastard.

His performance in this was quite similar to Rider on the Rain.

I have these in my dvd collection, from my most favorite film to the least:

1. The Evil that Men Do
2. The Mechanic
3. Mr. Majestyk
4. Hard Times
5. Death Wish
6. Telefon
7. 10 to Midnight
8. Breakhart Pass
9. Kinjite: Forbidden Subjects
10. Death Hunt
11. Violent City (a.k.a.The Family)
12. St. Ives

It's unfortunate that DEATH WISH 2 and 3 dvds are available only in the full screen formats.

I'm still looking forward to THE STONE KILLER and WHITE BUFFALO being released on region 1 or 2 dvd.

Has anyone watched COLD SWEAT (Optimum dvd region 2 UK) ? Is the movie any good? and is the picture presented in anamorphic widescreen?

Depends where you get them. The R2 German and Dutch MGM versions of DW3 are anamorphic widescreen, as is the dutch Columbia verision of DW2.

I'm pleased, I picked up a French DVD of WHITE BUFFALO in a charity shop in Clapham for £2.

If it got a proper release in France how come all it gets is one of them "archive" releases in the U.S. which are basically just glorified DVD-R's.

It's a mystery. There are some great films in the Archive Collection that deserve a proper release.
