Like the recent Hammer releases like Camp On Blood Island & These Are The Damned,I thought this underrated Winner actioner was going to be a mail order exclusive (MOVIEMAIL).Perhaps Sony have realised that the film will do better with a proper release, knowing how popular Bronson still is.Still strange they've yet to release Death Wish 3 & 4 here, despite the classifications for dvd years back.I was going to buy the Scandinavian release of The Stone Killer but I'll wait now.

I found it really strange that MGM had the DW sequels classified then never released them. Did they lose the rights or something?

No idea steve. The Pumpkin Eater & The Victors also went through the BBFC & they were Moviemail exclusives according to the site,so The Stone Killer MAY be too.

I have the video of The Stone Killer. It's a good film but I wouldn't say it's one of Bronson's best. Enjoyable stuff though.

Plus dear old Pa Walton himself Ralph Waite. He also popped up in Winner's Chato's Land and Lawman.

But was reincarnated as the voice of an old doggy-woggy in Homeward Bound II.

Was it Optimum who released it?
