I've just sent an e-mail asking about the order I placed on December 1st, which included three Arrow Academy titles.

If mine hasn't arrived after tomorrows post then I've been told to get in contact again, according to Nicole it was sent via Royal Mail 1st Class, even at this time of the year, it doesn't take two weeks for something to arrive. The majority of people are waiting on quite large orders, mine is only one blu ray, easier for someone to steal without anybody knowing

On the upside, you've got a postal worker who's clearly a big Zombie Flesh Eaters fan!

But seriously, I feel for you, mate. I've had stuff go missing in the past and it's a real pain in the arse.
Rik likes this.

I'm sure I'll get a copy one way or another, I might even send Arrow the links to sellers overcharging on ebay, just in case they don't have anymore in stock

Post does appear to be a little slower than usual as my Alfred Hitchcock Collection arrived from today, and Zavvi posted it on the ninth.

There's no rhyme or reason as to when things will arrive at the moment - the stuf I've been sending second class has been reaching buyers the next day but a pre-order from HMV arrived a week after it was posted! It's to be expected for the season, I guess, but it's all very inconsistent.

You would have thought Royal Mail would've worked out a solution to the increased demands on their services caused by seasonal mail, but apparently not. My brother worked in the town's sorting office last year for an agency and was offered work again, this time employed directly by Royal Mail and not a third party.

I think it all depends on the area. Where I live we are used to snow and it being a bit slippy but ever since we had that severely heavy snow winter after winter starting in 2007 it has been getting better and better, they seem to be more prepared and tend to lay on extra deliveries during the day and Sunday delivery. The weather hasn't been that bad this year but some days we have had 4 deliveries from Royal Mail, I suppose getting ahead just in case it does turn bad.

For me things have been arriving quicker than usual, apart from the you know what order, especially Amazon, they are the worst the rest of the year but at the moment when you order with the free super saver delivery they seem to be sending it out first class anyway - this could be just that post depots are passing them around quicker though.

I'm still waiting on my Arrow sale order of 3 BD's and a DVD.

My ZFE came a while ago, and some stuff I've ordered a lot more recently from eBay and Amazon has arrived too.

Although my Fernando De Leo set from the US hasn't turned up yet, but Daemonia's came last week!

Christmas is a right pain in the arse!
