I got this from the Arrow Facebook page

"Any news on Demons? I have been telling myself to not buy the dvd as I really want one of Arrow!!!"

Reply: "Ours will be worth the wait! Lots planned, announcement coming soon!"

So it IS happening still!

Yeah, I've pretty much decided to go with the ABUS discs come payday as I sold my old Pegasus(?) disc of Demons in anticipation of the Arrow release ...

That's not to say I won't be buying the Arrow releases, and eagerly await their arrival as I think these will be the definitive editions.

I don´t know that, but this release was only DVD in the first place.
A blu-ray was only a rumored option. I think the DVD is only being pushed back because a eventual blu-ray that may never happen.

I have the Anchor Bay edition and I can say it´s a beatiful print.
I´m interested in Arrow´s version for the extras and the goodies but I went ahead and also bought the Anchor Bay version.

If it is happening Arrow need to have an Italian Lang/Eng subs option (which will be THE only version worldwide) then it will be a big seller, ok we all know the (horrendous) English dub, has anyone (who understands Italian heard that dub?...is it any better?) as far as I know most of the cast members spoke Italian on set (much the same as Soavi's La Chiesa (The Church)...how good would those movies be with subs (probs not as "dumbed down?")

How true and said release wasn't even anamorphic but still looked great. I've got an Amaray case copy still sealed along with the sequel.

I own the lousy-looking German single and box set releases of the Demons duo. Also, Platinum's U.K. relics and subsequent triple-disc collection as well as the first and second ABUS DVDs.

However, i'm still shelling out for Arrow's editions when the time comes. Those "Bloodthirsty fanged creatures" float my bloodstained boat everytime!

I've just got the 2 Platinum uk DVDs, paid a couple of quid each years ago from Blockbusters, they'll be going out the door as soon as the Arrow ones arrive...whenever that may be!
