Posted on HotUKDeals today, this set is on Amazon at £13.99 (DVD) and £16.99 (Blu) which is a bargain considering what's included.

Battle Royale - 3 Disc Box Set Limited Edition Blu-ray: Amazon.co.uk: Tatsuya Fujiwara: DVD

The Blu-ray's even more of a bargain at Zavvi, where it's only £14.85.

Yup - hope to discuss more about the final extra later this week - just awaiting suitably descriptive words I can impart to you good folks!

On the matter of the special edition releases in Feb and what they won't have included in the Limited Edition here's the lowdown on the proposed differences:

Blu-ray – in a case like Dawn of the Dead BD three discs, 8 page booklet and poster inside, inside a normal Arrow Video windowed slipbox. The sleeve has four artwork panels.

DVD – currently anticipated in a foldout digipak in white, 8 page booklet, and poster inside a pocket, two artwork panels to switch, the rest folding in on itself.

So the limited edition stuff that will not be included in the SE is:

Limited Edition Packaging/Numbering/Certificate

From Booklet 1:

- Essay by Jay McRoy

- Promo material, cast & crew biogs, director’s statement, filmography

- Extract from Original Novel

Concept Artwork booklet 2

And if you sign up at the Walkers crisps website, you get a 10% off voucher for Zavvi, bringing the BD down to £13.37

You're trying to make me buy both, aren't you...

Almar, you said that the SE Bluray will have four cover panels. Are these exclusive to this edition, or will the pictures be feature in the Limited edition?

As far as I'm aware that would be existing artwork used in the LE but best I double check!

Zavvi has went up in price since then, would be £17.85 (or £16.07 after the discount). To be honest though, my last couple of purchases from there have been so slow in dispatching I'll probably not buy from them again, at least for a while.

I'm just regretting that I pre-ordered from Amazon instead of HMV, I have a feeling that Amazon will wait for release date to ship it out. Compare that to HMV who had Beauty and the Beast at my house 2 days before the release date.
I'm very impatient.
