Good things come to those who wait.

I was gonna get this straight away but I'm gonna wait a while, hopefully the B&W discs will dwindle away, don't want to muck about sending it off etc.

I wonder how many people will want one of each thinking they've got something special

It's not like it was released uncut by accident or extras had to be removed because of rights or anything like that.

Hmm
Arrow have been very fast in sending replacements before so I am not concerned about that.
Maybe email out postage paid labels for those that get incorrect discs?
that will stop people from complaining.

I need clarification if this is true sepia tone or the golden yellow variant that Salvati described actually using.

What is the actual bitrate?

Either way would be better than B&W.

So long as it pans out this sounds good. Any word on whether new review discs will be sent out?

Kindest regards,

Kevin P.

None as yet... and I'm a little curious about that myself.

Here's hoping. It would be a real downer for all the coverage online to be of the inferior check discs if the new version offers a substantial improvement (and it sounds like it will).

Kindest regards,

Kevin P.

So all good - here's the bit to note carefully.

Due to retail lead times some stock had been manufactured so when you get the set check the disc and if it's an old one Arrow will do a swap - by post - as has been very successfully done in the past. All you'll be doing is popping that disc only into the post so it's very simple (full details to follow)

The original release date of March 14 still stands and Arrow of course are very apologetic for any inconvenience this may have caused. This process of making changes to create the best possible product, whilst not perfect, is exceptionally unusual - frankly unheard of - for this industry and as a result fans will get The Beyond like never before and that is hopefully a cause for celebration.
Ah, good news! I'm grateful to Arrow for handling the matter professionally, and look forward to the release again.
