I didn't notice any problems with my disc, but I'll have another look shortly and go back to you. In the meantime, the Technically Speaking thread is now open.

From DVDbeaver "Arrow's transfer of SAVAGE STREETS is an NTSC-PAL conversion with combing (see cap 4) and occasional stuttering during sideways movement. "

I´ll stick with the scandinavian release.

Its 4% difference so 4% of 92.27 is not +15secs, PAL run times are slower then NTSC as its a speed up not speed down.
PAL run times are lower then NTSC, not slower.

I'm not going to buy another DVD of this - I've had it twice before and I can't be arsed owning another dvd edition of it. I'd buy it on blu-ray but I can't see that happening for a good while yet.

Just finally got to watch the movie, thoroughly enjoyed it, but did anyone spot the LAUGHABLE moment during the nightclub scene (after heather's rape), where the band onstage begins a song......The synthesiser starts the song, it is the only instrument heard, we see the Guitarist is playing too, then a wide shot showing the wholE BAND rocking out but only the synthesiser is actually playing at that time!!

Was so funny i nearly voted Tory, LOL!!!!!!
ecc and Pete like this.

Savage Streets - DVDActive/Reviews

(Good review but I'm getting sick to death of reviewers using the word 'grindhouse' in almost every review of an old horror/exploitation movie)
