Nice review. Even though the A/V quality doesn't look too hot, I'm still really tempted to pick this up for curiosity's sake.

Good review Nos, as always. This is one of those films that I didn't know about until Arrow got involved with it, I think I'll pick this up but it's not at the top of my 'wish list'.

The boat can leave now, tell the crew

i'm presuming it looks similar to the lionsgate release.

Ironically I reviewed that release on amazon marketplace a while a go as I'd been a fan of this movie for years.

Midnight [DVD] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC]: Amazon.co.uk: Melanie Verlin, Lawrence Tierney, John Hall (III), Charles Jackson (III), Doris Hackney, Bob Johnson, Lachele Carl, David Marchick, Greg Besnak, John Amplas, Robin Walsh, Jackie Nicoll, Amy

When my copy arrives i'll be sticking a review for it up asap.

That's a good review and your closing comment about hoping someone will put out a good release has been met here. The interviews are informative and, though I haven't yet had a chance to read the booklet, the overall package makes a double-dip extremely tempting.

John Russo told me today that one day he hopes to remake Midnight, providing he can get a decent budget to do it with.

The film is so full of powerful imagery, if most of this was ported over to a 21st century remake with an updated storyline and modern effects work, I reckon this one could be a major hit at the cinema.

Lets hope it happens with John at the helm!

I'm really looking forward to seeing MIDNIGHT on DVD.
I haven't seen it since the days of Vipco sellthru tapes.

cheers! Looking at the bonus features alone made me buy the disc, especially the interview with john amplas. (now all I need is a decent release of toxic zombies, the us disc of that looks like a pirate copy!)

Either way anyone here thats not seen this movie yet, I highly reccomend it!

Hey, very nice review, I like your writing style very much. I also try and write reviews once in a while, but can't seem to be able to take the time anymore, especially for such a long text. Good job on that one and thumbs up for including a mention on the dvd extras.
