I always use the Buchanan Hotel - It's cheap and is not far from the GFT or the train station.

Looks like you may be out of luck, all the sites i've looked at say it's not possikle to book rooms at the Buchanan Hotel at the moment. Don't know why.

Would have loved to come along for this one - anyone who hasn't been to one yet really owes it to themselves to do so this time! - but i've just bought a new camera and holiday! Bugger
