Obsession – Which Is Your Favourite Panel?
So, now all four panels have been unveiled, which will grace the cover of your copy? Panel #1 by Tom 'The Dude Designs' Hodges Panel #2 from Spain Panel #3 from Germany Panel #4 from Japan

A very difficult decision... all four panels are good. I do like the German and Spanish covers slightly more than the Japanese one, but The Dude's cover is also very good, so that's definitely in the running too. I think I may have to go away and think about this! |

I think the newly commissioned cover wins hands down. I was never a fan of any of the original artwork for this film. Tom Hodges's work perfectly ecapsulates the essence of the old Hitchock posters, which is very apt, IMO. German cover is very OMENesque and given the fact that both films came out in '76, it's a given the artist was influenced by the artwork from the Donner film. |

I'll probably stick with The Dude's new artwork until I feel like change and then will go to something radically different, probably the Japanese cover.

This is the toughest choice of Arrow covers yet for me as I like them all but I think I'll go for the German one as I like the colour scheme.

I still prefer the Japanese one - just. The German one runs it a very close second, although the two couldn't be more different imo. The Japanese one is very light and muted, the German one quite dark and garish - but in a good way!

That's why I'll probably alternate between the new artwork and the Japanese poster art.

Best collection of artwork panels yet from any Arrow release imho (together with Phenomena). Anyways, I'll probably go with the spanish design (Fascinación) most of the time, since it will look just gorgeous together with the white border and case! |
