An Xtro release I'm not familiar with?! Anyway, I can't say if it's good or not, but I would recommend the optimum release as the picture quality is the best your gonna get and all scenes are present and accounted for. It's bare bones but fairly priced.

The best UK release of XTRO is the old Film 2000 edition which was available in a boxset with parts 2 & 3.

I must disagree.
The picture quality of that release is terrible, plus two scene's where cut from it.
Nice packeging though.

interesting, but not unexpected, news. Having seen it recently, I would have been shocked if the BBFC demanded an 18 certificate as The Deadly Spawn contains practically no nudity (one topless scene), no strong violence and language which they probably classed as 'moderate'.
