It is usually very mainstream.

I have stood in the Tesco looking at which ones I'll be getting in 3 months ahem.

Today I got some James Herbert. All the small pb editions, but a good few, mostly the later stuff, The Fog is the oldest etc, but they are all in reasonable condition for once, no pun intended.

Happy Demon!
Love James Herbert. One of my favourite authors.

Just ordered from an eBay store. Shirley Jacksons The Haunting of Hill House.
Been meaning to pick up a copy for a while and this nice hardback isn't getting any cheaper.Screenshot_20240313_120329_Samsung%20Internet.jpg

Any particular reason? Have you read the authors before or did they simply pique your interest?

Had reason to visit one of the older neighbouring towns this afternoon. Checked out the local indoor market, big old cavernous place I've not browsed in years. Sadly a shadow of its former self. Found this for a quid on a used bookstore.20240429_155034.jpg

Two for a quid in the St.Davids shop earlier.
Technically it was four for a quid but I couldn't find anything else. 20240520_201627.jpg
