Speaking of which, that one just popped through my letter box this week . You've gotta love the blurb on the back of the case -

"Most DVDs will give you a succinct plot synopsis but we're still struggling to understand what the hell goes on in this movie!"

I think I'll watch it tonight .

My collection's doubled since I last posted. Nearly there! I'm hopefully going to order Killer Nun, The Frightened Woman and Venus in Furs at the end of the week too.

The Fulci Box is empty and purely for show mind

How come your collection is a big advert for Argento's Sleepless?

My Shameless collection. Clearly the most sizable here.

Funny how 'Ripper' shows up so much, must be the best seller, also funny how little 'torso' or 'who saw her die' appear, guys get em in, great movies.

I've got the Shameless release of Torso - nice little Giallo.

What's Who Saw Her Die? like? Similar? Totally different?

Greetings!

A new secret collaboration of Arrow and Shameless perhaps?

Greetings!

I have Torso on dvd, just not from Shameless. I'll be looking to turn that into a Blu-ray purchase soon, if Shameless announce one, if not it'll be BU.

Not familiar with Who Saw Her Die, or quite a lot of Shameless releases if I'm honest. That very well could change. If there is a trailer reel of Shameless titles on the NYR BD I could well be quite tempted by a few.

'Who saw her Die' is much darker(as it deals with a childkiller, so it should be) but it's a great Venice filmed thriller, where you really feel for George Lazenby(yes that guy) in his search for his daughters killer. And Venice isn't filmed as some sort of tourist trap, more like it's true identity. Aldo Lado clearly likes Argento as you can see Dario's shadow in it's style. 'Torso' is more flashy, but they make a good double bill, with 'Torso' first then 'Who saw her Die' after. Shameless do a great job with P.Q. as well, picked mine up in HMV for £6 so easily worth a punt.
