Competition Competition - K-Shop - 28th July 2016 - FINISHED

Hi everyone,

Ready for another Cult Labs competition? Good.

This week, we're giving away the excellent new British horror film that I know you'll love. A vigilante killer is on the hunt, turning those who annoy him (namely drunks) into kebab meet for unsuspecting customers, Sweeney Todd style.

Here's a little more about the film;

Bloody vengeance comes to the streets of a British seaside town in this darkly comic horror, which sees a young student turn vigilante on the drunken thugs who caused the death of his kebab shop-owner father.

A tense and gruesome thrill-ride, K-Shop delivers a cutting social commentary about the sordid side of British nightlife – with a side order of stomach-churning black humour.

As the first feature film ever shot in Bournemouth, K-Shop follows in the bloody footsteps of homegrown horror hits such as Severance and Dog Soldiers – making for a film that’s distinctly British with a dark sense of humour.

And while writer-director Dan Pringle packs K-Shop with the blood, guts and meat to satisfy the hunger of the most hardcore horror fans, there’s some genuinely smart satire as the film takes a meat cleaver to drinking culture – hacking to pieces the kind of carnage many Brits will recognize from the streets most Friday and Saturday nights.

There’s a great breakout performance from Ziad Abaza with support from a fine cast of British acting talent.

Most importantly, K-Shop is an exciting and tasty horror, with enough nerve-shredding tension and excruciating violence to keep you gripped throughout – the perfect horror takeaway!

To Win...

All you have to do is post your favourite meal/eating-scenes in a (real - not made up for this competition) horror film. From the most violent to the most depraved - black and white to 3D. Whatever it may be, post it below. Videos and pics are more than welcome, as always!

Next Wednesday - 3rd August - the best entries will be put into a random draw and one lucky winner chosen to win the new DVD (out Monday 1st August).

Again, there's no limit to the number of entries you make - just have fun and share a movie meal that's bound to put people of their own food...

Good luck!

Kyle
