See i take all the plaudits.

However credit where it's due. If Demoncrat hadn't 'liked' an ancient post of mine on this thread it would never have come to my attention. :hail:

Battery died just as I was replying dagnabbit

I've been a bit slack since the last post and have only seen Revolver (the Fabio Testi one )
This needs remedy, like so many other bleedin' things ....

I think Enzo Castellari is my favourite of all Italian directors. Crime or otherwise. I find his films thoroughly entertaining.

He's a thoroughly lovely person too - I have had the pleasure of meeting him twice (in 1999 and 2012, respectively) and he's so smiley and such a pleasure to be around.

He comes across as a decent and enthusiastic person in his interviews.

Delighted this translates into real life , Paul.

It's always nice when you find out someone you admire is a decent person - I always try and have a disconnect between the art and its maker but it's a bonus when they're nice.

What are you favourite Castellari films Paul?

Street Law is my personal fave followed by The Inglorious Bastards - a film that is so darn watchable and action packed througout.

There's actually a few trailers on the Nucleus release that look really good, some films I'd completely forgotten about and others I'd never heard of. I'd love to see Revolver, The Big Racket and Heroin Busters get the HD treatment from someone. Arrows release of Milan Calibre 9 was supposed to be a test to see how well it sold in the UK, they haven't really touched anything else since.
