I had the Amstrad/Spectrum 128K +2A. I swapped it for an original gameboy when they were released.

Does anyone find that compared to the old games being talked about here on the thread, todays games are far to easy. I remember trying in vain for months trying to beat ' Cannon Fodder ' but failing miserably, MK vs DC took no time at all. That was 49 quid wasted. |

I completely agree Vips It was very very difficult to finish a game back in the day. I could probably count on one hand how many I finished..............but then again I was a child / teenager with little patience |

The modern games are imo getting shorter as well. MOH Airbone was extremely short (and easy) when compared to older FPS's like Wolfenstein or DOOM. They were fantastic games. I always prefered Wolfenstein to DOOM . I read a new version of Wolfenstein is being released this year for PS3 / 360 & PC. DOOM 4 is also being released by id this year for the same formats as Wolfenstein . Wolfenstein is probably the game im looking forward to the most this year. I hope a good job is done on them as the originals are true classics. (KPW, I sent you a PS3 request, my 360 is'nt online much.) |

Really looking forward to both Doom 4 and the new Wolfenstein. The original Doom still is my favorite game of all time with Duke Nukem 3D a close second! Wolfenstein I discovered after Doom... Great game. Going onto the PS3 today so I'll add you Vips. I'm not on often but if you do catch me online then we can do battle!
