Cult Labs - What Have You Bought Recently?

it was 90p on Amazon so no great loss, will probably upgrade to blu at somepoint. I haven't seen it for years so i don't know what will be cut so it's not much of a problem.

I think it is unfair to describe it as cut. The BBFC list no cuts for the DVD release. I understood that the U.K. version is the theatrical release. There is a longer version (around 11 or 12 minutes) available in the U.S., but I believe this is an extended edit originally intended by Eastwood for T.V. broadcast. I never owned the U.K.release (only the U.S. version) so I could be wrong.

Way back i used to think it a great film, but when i got the US dvd it bored the hell out of me.

I'd have cut a lot more if i had my way. :lol:

The Professionals is a cracking western if you don't know it. One of my top ten of the genre.

Fair play to Kino for including both a DNR'd & a 'raw' version of the film... Koch Media did a similar thing with Lucio Fulci's Silver Saddle... it pleases both those that hate DNR & those that dislike heavy grain & a noisy image :p

Those shots look fantastic i have so man really bad copies of this film. Some you cant even hear the audio and barely make out the picture. So this is a dream come true for me.

Turned up on .co.uk's marketplace. Allyour music are doing it for about £13.72, cheaper than the rest of the people listing it there. Shouldent have bought it given my current situation but I really like the movie.

Can't wait to check out the cleaned up version! ;)

Never picked them out they came with my new 47" inch 3DTV and 3D Blu Ray Player with surround sound system!!!
