A few pickups from the charity shops whilst out shopping yesterday morning and Saturdays afternoons post.

My postman retired last week and the replacement is having to work hard for his wages as he had two bags of mail for me yesterday afternoon. Thankfully most of my purchases have been delivered now with only a couple more due in the next week from Music Magpie and one from Arrow which has still not been delivered a week after dispatch.

His new postman has also now retired.

Quick heads up gang, Sainsburies are running an offer til the 5th on nectar points. You can exchange your points for a voucher worth double as long as you select a category to use it on. There's a minimum of 1000 point to use the offer though. However it means if you have £5 worth you can change it to £10. They also have two for £25 on select blurays. Meaning if you have enough points and take advantage of both offers you can make some decent savings. I got these two for £12.50

Its more than watchable and far from the worst dvd transfer i have seen and cost me less than a pound. I actually do have the Redemption bluray in my collection and agree it's the best the film has looked.

The grindhouse version is basically an unrestored version of the film. Its pretty battered looking.

Thief is f*****g awesome.

Sorry but i just can't grasp this one. Why buy an inferior dvd of a film you already have on blu-ray?

monkeypedro 3rd April 2016 02:15 PM

Because i own so many movies (approx 10000) and i do have them on a database at home on my laptop when i am shopping and not sure if i have bought a movie already i would rather pay 50p and buy it then do a 20 mile round trip to check it as would cost more in petrol to do so. It is very rare that this happens.
