Trailer Trauma 3 just came in the post, seven and a half hours of 80's horror trailers! With commentary if desired! It will easily take months to get through this! £40 was a lot but based on length & the fact that it's limited to 1,500 copies only, I had to get it!

Yet another charity shop DVD sale, 50p a pop. So Loony Toons & Crowe for the weekend.

It's odd that it says it's a 15 certificate. The dvd certainly isn't, it's a 12 and if you look at the CEX label it also says the BD should be a 12 certificate.

I thought Victor Frankenstein was a mess, but an enjoyable mess. It's something I'd probably happily pick up in one of the 2 for £5 (preferably less) offers at Music Magpie, but wouldn't pay more.

Sadly for my back account this isn't even the entirety of October's haul, I still have a few arrivals left. Luckily some things were paid for months ago though.

The slips on those Agatha Christie releases are so much nicer in person, so vibrant. The ensemble casts for them are insane too, Bette Davis, Angela Lansbury, Elizabeth Taylor, Lauren Bacall, even Ingrid Bergman. I usually hate the art for a lot of Scream Factory's releases, but I couldn't resist The Fog, so much classier than their typical comic-book fare. I really wanted to see that new Jamie Lee Curtis interview too.

Initially I didn't look twice at Simon King Of The Witches, but seeing people talk about it, and checking a few reviews it sounds like something I'll love. Really excited to dig into those Indicator releases too, and I don't think I've seen any of the episodes of Hammer's House Of Horror, so that should be interesting.

I'll let you know Dem. I like both McAvoy and Radcliffe and have watched ten mins or so on Now Tv which looked decent.

This weeks new arrivals.

The first five were from Network's sale. The Manitou is a film i've been on the look out for quite a while and has always been around £20 second hand. This was a fiver from Music Magpie. The Holmes box set and Zookeepers Wife were from Sainsbury's and the last two throwaway horrors from Music Magpie.
