That's a good point. However, I've read reviews which say the high definition release benefits from more vivid colours and better saturation levels, plus there are a couple of sequences where the 7.1 soundtrack makes the experience much more immersive.

I can confirm that the colours look great on the Blu Ray and it doesn't take anything away from the parts that are supposed to look old and worn out or grainy. It's definitely worth importing.

Bought the 4k Dracula for the Blu ray (apparently the original release sucked).
Shazam a blind buy as I missed it at the cinema despite being fairly interested. ;)

HARLEQUIN
Robert Powell stars as an illusionist, whose extraordinary powers are utilised to seemingly miraculously heal the young son of a government official. But is he all he seems?
The always watchable Powell puts in another great performance, as does David Hemings as the father of the child.
The special effects, though of their time are, in the most part, very well done.
A difficult film to categorise, but an enjoyable one all the same.

THE BLOODY SECT
This slice of early 80s Spanish madness concerns a sinister sect intent on artificially inseminating women until one of them spawns the child of Satan. Mind you, that’s just the starting point to a bizarre mixture of ROSEMARY’S BABY, THE EXORCIST, zombies and god knows what else. Absolutely bonkers.
Oh and by the way, the end credits stipulate ALL EVENTS IN THIS FILM ARE FICTIONAL. You don’t say!
