If I'm fortunate enough to be sent the disc for review, I'll let you know my first impressions and then post a link to the full review. If one comes through the mail, I'll let you know so you can expect something quite soon.

Wild At Heart
Straight Story

then these at the bootsale this morning:
Red Mist
The Thing
Burn After Reading
Blooded
The Stepford Wives
Driller Killer
Eaten Alive and Mountain Of The Cannibal God on vipco

Bit peed off that I bought Wild at Heart yesterday for £12 in HMV then there was another edition on the bootsale today for a pound. I picked that one up too cause my collectors side got the better of me. Plus, the one I bought for £12 has extras where as the one on the bootsale hasn't so it's not all bad.

I'm surprised Wild at Heart cost you so much as I recently bought the BD from Zavvi for £7.85. Excellent film though.

Argentofan 17th April 2011 02:18 PM

My closest HMV seem to be way over-priced quite a lot. :(

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 17th April 2011 03:09 PM

I don't think it's just your local HMV judging by many of the comments I've read on here as they all seem to charge about 50% more than their online branch and other Internet shops.

Argentofan 17th April 2011 03:16 PM

Mmm, well I suppose they can afford too seems though they are the only dvd retailer on the high street these days.

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 17th April 2011 03:38 PM

That's true -- the days of Our Price, Fopp, Virgin Megastore, Woolworths etc are long gone so, apart from supermarkets, HMV has a virtual monopoly on high street music and video sales.
