The first season of True Detective was magnetic. Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaugey were absolutely superb, especially the latter. It's connections to Carcosa and Robert Chambers The King in Yellow (a book I've yet to read) fascinated me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have to admit me and the missus gave up on S2. It just lacked something. I couldn't get into it.

Tourist Trap from Fillm Treasures and Village of the Damned from Amazon.

A Sunday delivery. Was on the fence about buying the box set or waiting for the individual releases later and with some very gentle persuasion from Demdike here it is and I’m glad I didn’t wait. It’s a lovely looking box set.

I know nothing either, they're Mexican and gothic :D the screenshots on the review sites swayed me the most to be honest :D

That's one of the reasons i really wanted it.

I really want something new to watch. Let me discover new films. I still want to grow my movie collection not simply upgrade from dvd.

And those screen shots are gorgeous on DvdBeaver.

I too ordered this yesterday but direct from Powerhouse who aren't as quick as Amazon Prime. :lol:
