I've really been trying to limit my purchases lately but I found this used for about $23. Hopefully it scratches that Criterion itch that I've had for the past week.

I asked this in the Dracula thread too, but does the new Dracula 3 disc release come with a slipcase or not?

Justin101 25th April 2013 05:39 PM

No slip on the Lionsgate Hammers, which is a shame because the Studio Canal ones do.

I remember Veerana to be good but it's been a long time since I last watched it (vhs without subs) so will have to watch it again I guess. ;)
I haven't seen the other film before (I think).

Are you going to post titles or pics later? ;)

Stephen@Cult Labs 25th April 2013 09:03 PM

With my next pay having to do me for 5 weeks instead of the usual 4, extra tax being taken off me because of a blunder, and being an addict (movie, not drug!), I'm using all my spare cash this month for some upcoming Scream/Shout Factory and Arrow titles. Let's hope no appliances break, or I've not forgotten any bills!

Hope this isn't too personal a question, but is it common to be paid per month in the UK?

Depends on the job really, during the 14 years I spent working as an electrician I got paid weekly but most of my friends that don't work in the construction industry get paid monthly

Yeah. This is the 1st job I've been paid monthly. Always been weekly before. Worst part is when you start, and have to wait a month for your first pay. You get used to it after a while though.

I bet that was expensive

I've never seen The Punisher... but I always remember seeing the box in the video shop.

Depends. I see people who say £19.99 is expensive. But since I used to pay a lot for a laserdisc, I have no problem paying £30 for a limited edition 3 disc punisher blu-ray. :)

Justin101 26th April 2013 09:42 AM

I understand completely, with postage my Halloween 3 mediabook came to £35 which is the upper end of what I'm prepared to pay for one film, but when it's a deluxe set and in the case of HIII included a CD soundtrack it's OK. Not all of the time mind you, but as a treat :D

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 26th April 2013 09:48 AM

Yesterday I received Miracle in Milan and The Garden of the Finzi Contini Arrow Academy releases (BD and DVD, respectively) from Arrow. On Tuesday, the Die Hard Quadrilogy box set arrived from Zavvi.

Very true. And hopefully tomorrow, my Army Of Darkness Ultimate Edition will be delivered.

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 26th April 2013 12:12 PM

Received Baron Blood and Deadly Blessing from Arrow Films today, along with two postcards which I didn't already have: Lifeforce and Foxy Brown.
