The HKL release is really good if memory serves. I believe that I have two copies of that one was well. Let me know if that is of any interest to you.

Nice Socks!
I want that Russ Meyer set but I know I'll never watch them  Boobs aren't really my cup of tea but I love how over the top the films are.

Susan Foreman 7th February 2013 03:16 PM

Last minute running around town:

Charity Shop:

'Glastonbury Fayre - 1971' £2.00

HMV 'Blue Cross Sale':

'Gimme Shelter' - The Rolling Stones at Altamont - £7:00
'WWE - Wrestlemania XXVIII' - Triple disc - £10:00
'The Coffin Joe Collection Box Set' - £15:00
'Jaguar Lives' - Arrow - £7:00

The HMV ones were all less 25%, so I got them for well under £30!

Justin101 7th February 2013 03:43 PM

Yeah Faster Pussycat has lots of re-watch value, as does Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, but that isn't in that set since it belongs to Fox.

Justin101 7th February 2013 05:46 PM

will do think i watch it Sunday, it seems like a "Sunday movie"

SShaw 7th February 2013 06:45 PM

Stopped at my local dealer to pick up a fix on the way home and came away with:

Night of the Living Dead blu-ray in the German digi-book form (German text only I am afraid).

Fitzcarraldo blu-ray - one of my top ten films of all time.

Nosferatu (the Herzog version) blu-ray.

and couldn't resist Dementia 13 (here released as Fright Night - I should have paid more attention to what I was picking up) on blu-ray for €4 (around £3.50).

So the too watch pile is now looking a little more healthy.

Hang on....

The origional fright night on blu ray!!!!!

Sweet, if it is then can you tell me what the country of origion is please, I'm off to amazon.de with a big grin knowing I didnt wast my money on the TT version

Also is NOSFERATU english friendly? I love that movie!

SShaw 7th February 2013 08:46 PM

Just had a look at Fright Night and realised its not Fright Night at all. It seems to be a "rebadged" version of Dementia 13 :( I really should pay more attention to what I am picking up.

SShaw 7th February 2013 09:11 PM

Had a quick look at Nosferatu and it has an English language edit as an extra (English titles and English dub). There are no subtitles for the German language version or the Herzog commentary. I assume Fitzcarraldo is similar (the cover lists an English soundtrack).

ah well, given herzogs stature as a filmmaker i'm betting they will get a uk release sometime soon!

Shame about fright night, though it save me some cash as I cannot spend anything more!!

My personal favourite is Up and I also have a lot of time for Beneath the Valley of the Ultra Vixens and Beyond the Valley of the Supervixens.

J Harker 8th February 2013 09:01 AM

My Black Sunday slipcase showed up Tuesday morning. Well impressed given it were ordered late Sunday evening, after all the delivery problems a lot of you had had over crimbo I was hesitant ordering direct fron Arrow. Have to order Lisa and the Devil now too. Looks like that is it for arrow slipcases now though doesn't it?

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 8th February 2013 09:06 AM

After days of waiting as patiently as possible, the slipcase releases of Black Sunday and Lisa and the Devil arrived yesterday from Arrow, along with the BD of How Green Was My Valley from Zavvi.
