I sit corrected!

As far as I'm concerned, the difference is toys are meant to be played with, not positioned and displayed on a shelf. It's a matter of semantics, but it's very important!

The figures are approx 9" tall and complete with fabric clothing and an assortment of accessories / weapons as pictured below.

Only problem now is explaining to the other half why we need to make room for another 5 "bloody figures!"

Nice i want some where exactly u get them ? and what they cost ?

Most of it I got as a job lot. A lot of them I haven't seen before so any views would be welcome.

Holy S*%t, that may be the best selection of genre film buys on these very pages, I'd start with Blood and Black Lace if I were you, that lot would do me for quite a while, I know we don't have a 'post of the day' here, but won't see a better one than that:)

I kinda have to ask, how much did that lot set you back?

No duds either, Deep Red with Biehn I thought a bit "meh" but still okay.

anythinggoes78 24th March 2014 07:44 AM

Had a Shameless purge today

Torso
The Designated Victim
Who Saw Her Die
The Nurse
Formula For A Murder
Viva
Killer Nun

My display will now complete the word Shameless which pleases me

They are very good, especially the first, which is a terrific film. You'd do well to avoid the remake, which is vastly inferior.

TJ Doc 24th March 2014 06:14 PM

Roger that!

Hopefully I'll get round to checking out the Ring trilogy too one day. I've been neglecting Asian horror for too long.:(

That makes two of us. Dark Water, Ju on: The Grudge, Kairo, A Tale of Two Sisters etc also need revisiting.

I'm tempted to buy ANGUISH (1987), a Spanish/US horror starring creepy Poltergeist woman Zelda Rubinstein, which is out on German blu ray. The blu itself has good reviews, but I've never seen the film and was wondering what your opinions of it are before I buy. Is it an out-an-out slasher or some sort of deep psychological horror film? I've read differing things.

Here is one recent review you might want to read The Hourglass Sanatorium Blu-ray - Jan Nowicki

More psychological than slasher but a bit of both. ;)

The film is probably the only Horror movie made by Bigas Luna (Tit and the moon)

It's hard to go into without ruining the film, it's best to go into it blind suffice to say its excellent and well worth a watch.

I forgot this aswell i have been after this steelbook for ages but it goes for €70 on play. Picked it up a hell of a lot cheaper than that last night off a seller online.

SShaw 25th March 2014 05:27 PM

I'm working in Madrid this week so took the opportunity to visit FNAC (which is just across the street from my hotel) and picked up The Last Circus which I saw at Fantastic Fest back in 2010 and The Returned which I will see this weekend at Fantasy Film Nights in Hamburg. I was very tempted to also buy Witching and Bitching (which is also on this weekend's menu) but unfortunately it doesn't have Ingles sub-titles :(.

Picked this up today from a charity shop it was £5 so a lot more than I usually pay from charity shops but years since I've seen this film. So will be watching it tonight to see if it's as good as I remember.

They'll replace it for you no doubt, must have been one that slipped through the net.

Recieved an email reply from them-sent my addy they shipped a replacement.

Great service!

My copy arrived from Amazon this morning, only containing the BD. Needless to say, I contact them and they are sending out another copy with both discs, and I sent the 'light' one back to them.

Ms.45 was a no-brainer for me. Flesh and blood show turned up on Amazon marketplace at £8.65 (still at that at time of writing). Was not going to bother with the grillet films as the UK releases look to be far better but our pals zoverstocks listed them both at £7.99 so it was rude not to. Keeps my spine numbers complete at any rate.

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 26th March 2014 08:21 AM

You were lucky to get Trans-Europe-Express and Successive Slidings of Pleasure at that price because they are now back up near the £20 mark.

Fortunately, The Flesh and Blood Show is still available at £8.95, so I just ordered it.

oaxaca 26th March 2014 08:26 AM

Anyone found Ms. 45 for a good price? I cant see it for less than £15 anywhere. Grrr. Its getting hard to find good prices for imports.

Just wait for some other poor sap to sell their stuff to music magpie dirt cheap. Then Z will be able to list more at low, low prices ;)

Just need Frightmare to turn up on marketplace now. No sign of it. If it's not there in a week or so i'll just have to order it off movietyme.

It was £14 on marketplace the other day, but then the £1.26 postage does take it over £15 I suppose.
