Or just subtitle?

Oppo seems to have a way to move the subs I think?

The Oppo moving of subs option is not being used here. Both the Pioneer and Oppo are killing the subs completely by just moving that Arrow down....

Yeah pressing the sub button, pressing the arrow down, nothing.

Nice one LG - make a player that cannot even remove subs via its Sub Menu. Way to go....

Picked up Funny Games (original version), which has English subs on the main feature.

Subconscious Cruelty too, which is uncut and loaded with extras but has forced French subs.

Bloomin typical! Its no great problem, I come from a deaf household so subtitles don't bother me that much...can someone let me know what players will play this disc without subs? Cheers

Well just bought myself a Sony Wifi player (early christmas present) and as expected bye-bye forced subtitles! Im sorted!!!!

This arrived today - great case with a booklet and a fridge magnet. The transfer looks a mixed bag though having watched the first 20 mins or so. Some scenes very good - others shall we say could be better. I am going to watch it in full tonight but this is 1080p/25 and DOES have fixed subs. it is also Region B Locked for those who wanted this in Region A land.
Well at least the case is nice....
