 Heavy Metal Movie Stars

| Detroit Rock City (1999). Teen comedy set in the seventies. Essentially its a road trip by four slackers, one of them being Edward Furlong, who try to scam their way into a Kiss concert at Detroit's Cobo Hall. It's a lot of fun for fans of seventies music, Kiss especially. The band make an appearance towards the end with some fine live footage. Nordicdusk likes this. | Wanted Dead or Alive (1986). Kiss were essentially a Paul Stanley solo project during the mid eighties, the reason being Gene Simmons was lured by the mighty dollars of Hollywood and hadn't much creative influence over the band at all, basically singing his parts then heading off again. Wanted Dead or Alive was the best of Simmons movie projects. In it he plays a terrorist, Malak Al Rahim, who is in the States plotting a dastardly deed. Rutger Hauer plays the CIA man attempting to track him down. Wanted Dead or Alive is a very good action film that has stood the test of time and doesn't deteriorate with repeated viewing. |

 Thought there was someone else in 'Trick' but haven't seen it for years, and how could i forget Meatloaf, love that scene.And as were talking about Meatloaf he was in 'Rocky Horror picture show' too and i think in quite a few other films too.  |
