Wow! The extended version of The Shining is finally getting a UK release!

And look at all that lovely artwork!

Hopefully no Irish logos on them from Warner.....and I'll get rid of my US Shining disc!

Logan's Run, Soylent Green and The Omega Man aren't available on UK blu,

I had an idea Omega Man was or had been. Funnily enough i bought the US import of The Shining which doesn't seem to be on Amazon anymore. Assuming these titles don't vanish overnight I'll pick up a few eventually. I still have the old Omega Man/Soylent Green double bill dvd from at least 10 years ago. Yet to actually watch either film.

You should, both are excellent. I have that double bill as well. A green slipcase if i'm not mistaken.

little shop

i was always hoping they'd release little shop as a steelbook with original poster as cover, i never bothered with shining and clockwork orange steelbooks as they used crap art instead of poster art.

Personally i wish Warner would put a release out with this art.

I'm not even sure its original but the nostalgist in me remembers this as my first awareness of the film.

I have the yellow poster (a small one) which is quite often on my wall, but I also prefer the black and red artwork.

Looks like a must buy. The only BD I have of the film is a German one which doesn't have English friendly extras, including the Do You Remember Laurie Zimmer film.

Not feeling the new art for Precinct 13. Asked on Facebook if it had a reversible cover, but as usual, silence from Second Sight to customers.

'Diplomatic' about abominable artwork? Have you had some sort of road to Damascus life changing event which has made you reappraise your priorities?

J Harker 9th September 2016 10:16 PM

I like the artwork. Hoping for a nice digipack. [emoji4]

If something also includess the original art, I try not to moan too much about any new art they commission. I may rant of they respond and say this is the only cover we'll get. [emoji23][emoji23]
