I like the new blue writing colour.

I haven't bothered to tune into the TV screenings as I always assumed they would be the R version. Somewhat surprising that they would show the uncut version. I'll tune in next time for sure.

I honestly cant imagine that they would show the Japanese cut on TV
and thats the only one with the colour scene intact

I agree, it's very unlikely.

Everybody I've spoke to watched the last TV showing said it was the usual R-rated print. If they'd shown the full version quite a few people would have mentioned it on the internet.

Talking of Kill Bill uncut I recently saw that The Whole Bloody Affair may finally be coming to blu-ray/dvd. There is a quote from QT here:

I also read he said it will all be colour and the extra gore from the japanese release will be in. I have been waiting for this for 5 years!!!!!

The full colour version is absolutely incredible.

I should have snapped up the Japanese disc before the price rocketed....

Really looking forward to Blue Underground's TOOLBOX MURDERS and Arrow's DAY OF THE DEAD.....:woot:

How about an Arrow Blu-Ray of MARTIN?;)

kevxxx1 2nd November 2009 08:52 PM

Do films like The Toolbox Murders and Martin really benefit from Hi-Def?

I see that the Dances With Wolves Blu-ray is the theatrical version.Really a missed opportunity there.Would have been nice to have the Director's cut or even both versions.
