The Nanny is a great film and one that is in the Hammer box set. I haven't seen Die! Die! My Darling, Nightmare or The Anniversary.

I should really keep a note of how much this forum costs me!

The Anniversary was great fun.

I haven't caught up with Maniac or Hysteria yet (I have both of them here), but I too found Straight On Till Morning a rather dull affair. It's a typical 70's psycho-thriller, but it's certainly not one of Hammer's best. Fear in the Night is great fun though and is probably elevated to a higher status because of the presence of Peter Cushing.

My favourite 70's Brit psycho-thriller has to be Fright, though.

St Judith of Geeson helped a lot too. http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/love/love0010.gif

I'll take all those except Flash Gordon, lol!

Awwww All that's actually got a confirmed release date is Seven and Flash Gordon.Been listings like that for other titles on Amazon US for ages that say to sign up to be notified when they become available.I'd like to think they are coming but I have a feeling it'll be a while.

Hopefully soon for SCARFACE and ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA!

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 5th June 2010 07:51 PM

Oh yeah, having those two on Blu-ray Disc would be excellent.

After all these years and watching his films are numerous times, I still can't make my mind up as to which is Sergio Leone's best film. I've narrowed it down to between the two Once upon a Time in... movies but I really find it hard to split ...West and ...America.

Don't know if this has been mentioned already but the Donnie Darko blu ray looks good - it contains both the theatrical and director's cuts...

I fancy that, but am hoping for a review copy!
