Mentioned this to my cousin this afternoon, before the artwork was revealed, saying I hoped they would use this one. So glad they did. It's amazing. Along with the US/Canadian Shawshank Redemption, this is my favourite artwork ever to grace a steelbook.

So will this get a "regular" UK release as well then? ;)

I like The Rocketeer but I'm more excited about this one:

Oh yes, i'm looking forward to seeing the artwork for this one too, and Tron.

I'm slightly ashamed to say I have never seen it and, before Stephen's post, hadn't even heard of The Rocketeer. However, based on the overwhelmingly positive response, I think I'll preorder it to see what all the fuss is about!

I first saw The Rocketeer a few weeks ago. I'd heard it being labeled as a 'super-hero film for people who aren't into super-hero films', and in some ways I can kind of see how some people may have arrived at that definition. It was pretty good, but nothing too spectacular. Still, definitely better than the vast majority of all these modern super hero films, though!

Yeah it's up there with Zavvi's First Blood steelbook, although First Blood is just about the worst I've ever seen. Hideous.

And Nos, I'm truly shocked that you've never even heard of The Rocketeer.
