Yes, it's getting two stand-alone releases, one of which seems to be an uninspiring Steelbook.

It would only require a couple of decent releases to go with the Robbe-Grillet set and they'd win again.

Amen to that.

I've recently spent a few enjoyable evenings going through my set. It's definitely release of the year (by quite some margin) for me so far.

Well... this one will surely be limited too, so more like 'less limited'. :D

As Rik points out, there is a very slight packaging design difference.

Anyone who missed out on the limited coffin set of the Universal Monster films is in luck, as it is being re-released in time for Halloween:

I think it looks better with the white text than with the red, which is on the box I have.

I'm tempted to preorder while it's still £50, just in case it contains the other Monster Legacy films like the DVD set

Nothing has been announced yet, I don't think, apart from the different packaging

The listing on Blu-ray.com lists the exact same titles as the previous set, however that could just be assumption rather than fact.

Yeah, I'm being wishful more than anything

I suppose if it includes all the various sequels then thats a worthwhile upgrade. So far I can't see what's better about the CFBL re-release never mind the whole set.

Probably re-issuing another ghost stories for Christmas box with even more extras.

J Harker 23rd July 2014 07:29 PM

I imagine that will inevitably get a blu release before too long.
