Not so fast! I've just heard that the steelbook is now being released here AND France, so they've updated the artwork [emoji13].........

Oh bugger that! Cheers Stephen you saved me from making a big mistake there![emoji6]

TJ Doc 2nd August 2015 11:45 PM

101 Films recently uploaded the artwork for Rage of Honor and Pray for Death (which looks like it needs to be shifted down slightly).

Still don't know which cut they'll be using for the latter, but their silence on the matter isn't filling me with confidence.

Dave Boy 13th August 2015 10:41 AM

As regards NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD blu ray.
There are two versions out there (UK) both with issues regarding framing or missing scenes correct ??

It's not censored but there are one or two subtle differences which make the original artwork an edgier and more dangerous piece.

Justin101 14th August 2015 09:49 AM

Just seen The Exorcist Anthology boxed set listed on Amazon for an October release, no details or artwork and £30-something.

Might be worth grabbing since I never upgraded from DVD for the original and I don't have The Heretic!

And those are? For the life of me I can't see any difference apart from a few people moved closer to one another, the title moved and tagline removed. If that's it, I'm preplexed at the use of the words edgier & dangerous 😯

Unintentionally, it is probably funnier than Repossessed, but at least Repossessed has the priest blowing a raspberry at the Demon! That little moment is better than anything in Exorcist II!

J Harker 14th August 2015 10:01 PM

Not seen this mentioned yet.
Not a director I'm familiar with, but i know there's a few noir fans around here.

And hopefully they'll use one of the posters on the cover. Be much better than the US blu-ray.

I really like the artwork on the old UK DVD – mine is signed Stacey Keach – there's something suitably weird and incongruous about the astronaut and the crucifixion which suits the film perfectly.

You have to admit it's better than the American Blu-ray cover.

Can someone confirm that Rage of Honour (Sho Kosugi) is the same as the German 1000 Deaths of the Ninja and Prey for Death is Revenge of the Ninja?? Is that right? Or is it vice versa?

Also while I'm here, The Town That Dreaded Sundown (Re-make/sequel) is not available on Blu Ray here, is it? I know it's on German/Austrian BD but can't find a UK Blu?

Thanks in advance for any clarification. :thankingyou:

Prey for Death is not Revenge of the Ninja althoguh the plot is similar and I've never heard of 1000 Deaths of the Ninja, I've heard of 9 Deaths of the Ninja again starring Sho Kosugi but that is a different film entirely from Rage and Honour. Have a look on Youtube mate all the trailers are on there

If you search IMDB for 1000 Deaths of the Ninja, Pray For Death comes up.

According to what I can find...not certain if you want German titles?

Rage of Honor = Top Fighter (German title)

Pray for Death = Die 1000 Augen der Ninja (German title)

That's it, I'm getting rid of my Scream Factory disc and buying this!

Mojo 3rd September 2015 06:58 PM

To be honest, if the Scream Factory disc didn't have the uncut VAULT OF HORROR, I'd definitely buy it!
