Haven't you ever tried this new social phenomenon called 'socialising' and tried to get a girlfriend? That's what I'm aiming for, which may mean films have to take a back seat.

I came out of an engagement just over a year ago. At the moment i'm more than happy to be single.

At the moment, I'm not, so the amount of films I watch will (hopefully) be reduced slightly by the end of December.

Relationships are a mugs game ;)

Think of all the great films you could be watching whilst you're speed dating :D

Unless of course you can wrangle in a cinema trip on every date (now that's what I call multi-tasking ;))

Oh, she would definitely have to like films and trips to the cinema would be perfect.

Don't always wish for these things they can really poke you in the eye. :poke:

Back in the day and because it was in the top ten so long, i ended up seeing Four Weddings and a bleedin' Funeral five times at the cinema with five different girls.

There's nothing in the rules which states moderators can't spend all their time at home surfing the Internet and watching films!

The choice of film would have to be a joint decision and anyway, horror films make great date movies!

Mark Kermode said he took a date to the cinema to see (I think) The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and, when she wanted to leave, he let her because he wanted to watch the end of the movie!

Indeed. :tsk:

Reaps in divorce proceedings due to the amount of hardboxes he buys, whilst his family starve; Stephen scaring off every girl he meets due to his obsession with DVD artwork; Kyle having no time for dating due to working 24 hours a day thinking of competition ideas, and me with my list obsessions never venturing outside due to being ever-closer to achieving that 'perfect ranking'...

 :D
