Re-watched Ginger Snaps last night, first time in a couple of years. It's still the most refreshing, and rewarding, Werewolf film since, er... The Howling?! Ha.

Going to re-watch the whole Ginger Snaps trilogy on Saturday. I remember the sequel being very enjoyable too, and the prequel was also great; seeing as it's the same story as the first, just set in a different time! Ha.

Day of the Dead Remake.
Not that good but Mena Suvari looks gorgoues, though totally unbelievable as a soldier.
Tonite's film... Impulse.

Tomorrow...Battle of Algiers.

Friday....DOOM...BluRay. If time either Rats - NOT or Bloody Moon .

Still cant make my mind up for Halloween nite though.

I recently watched the American Werewolf in London Blu Ray. Classic film, though as its my first blu ray i cannot compare the quality to anything else but its deffinantly an improvement over the dvd.

I also watched The Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue, brilliant film and still one of my favourite zombie films.

Watched last of the living, last night. An aussie zombie comedy, which was pretty crap.Bought it for my sons xmas,so hopefully he'll like it.

Also watched richard pryor-live in concert, this man is feckin hilarious, and pulls no punches in his routine.

Followed that up with some of billy connolys tour of new zealand, which was pretty decent.

Dunno if any of you guys ordered that bruno mattei set, blood of the dead, but if you aint seen them yet,be prepared for a total shitfest.
They make zombie creeping flesh look like an arthouse movie.(and i love zcf.)

I'm in the process of switching to Blu-Ray and am waiting on the equipment arriving, but in the meantime,I've stockedpiled some blu-ray films.
What's the pic quality on those you mention like mate?
Hopefully it's gonna be worth the upgrade.....

American Werewolf looks stunning, I noticed alot of the scenes look brighter than those on the regular dvd, the picture is a lot sharper and the colours are more vivid. The transformation scene is imo the best looking scene, it looks amazing. The only negative i can think of is theres quite alot of grain apparent but it didnt really bother me all that much.

I only watched the regualar dvd of Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue so cant comment on that but as for American Werewolf I'd say its deffinantly worth the upgrade and you wont be dissapointed.

Ive only just upgraded to blu-ray myself which is why i only have one blu-ray lol, hopefully i'll be getting a few more in the next couple of weeks though.

Andy.
