It's an acquired taste.

If you don't like it at first wait a while then give it another go.

It's where Salma's character name in From Dusk till' Dawn comes from.

I remembered watching "Alone in the Dark" with Christian Slater a few years back and thought I'd give it another go. Now I remember that I used to drink a lot more alcohol a few years back, no wonder I couldn't remember how lame it was!!! 2/10 for the crappy extras and -2/10 for the "music" videos. Total 0/10 (and that's generous)!

You given the extras a score and the music videos trog, but you appear to have forgotten to give the film itself any points...[emoji6]

The Guest.

A carpenter-esque thriller that also plays like a modern vampire movie (check out the ending) and nods to slasher pics. I liked this movie. Those here who didn't like you're next may still be baffled by my enjoyment of this picture but I really dug it. Fantastic synth based score as well.

As above, so below.

The goonies done as a found footage 'horror' with few scares. Not great but might be worth looking at when it hits netflix.

The Babadook.

Excellent! a really well crafted, somewhat slow-burning horror that might be about a fairy tail monster terrorizing a single mother and her child, might also just be about a mother who is going nuts and might be looking at murder/suicide as an option. Either way its nail biting stuff and intelligently made as well.

Nightbreed.

Still missing some moments from the Cabal cut, this still is a much better and more faithful adaptation than the studio butchered theatrical cut. Nice to know the cultural vandalism perpetrated by morgans creek as been in some way rectified.

If only they would do the same with The Exorcist III and release it under William Peter Blatt is intended title, Legion.

Legion is a far better title anyway.

Considering the events have (or should have) almost nothing to do with an exorcist, that's not hard!

Needs its own movement like occupy midian. The blu suggests the nightbreed/cabal restoration was largely due to fan response to the touring of the cabal cut. I had the pleasure of attending the grimm screening in manchester and the fan response was phenomenal.
