Mark Kermode has been investigating and campaigning for years but, though he is very passionate and influential, he is just one person and I'm not sure there is the same grassroots movement for Legion. This could be because it's (fairly) highly regarded as it is and isn't a cult film in the same way with a passionate fan base.

I haven't seen it for quite some time and have only recently got a new copy...http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31V6QMEVA9L.jpg
...I seem to remember it following Blatty's book, "Legion" pretty closely. I had read the book a couple of years prior to the release of the film "The Exorcist 3" so there may be gaps and misrememberances...

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014) Not as good as the first film but still way better than Burton's vision. Although the ending I think sets up any possible further sequel, 'Battle for the Planet of the Apes' anyone?

My first nunsploitation film. We have a young nun that is corrupted by satan after she sees his tallywacker and then goes on a sex crazed murder spree . Some nice religious imagery with the apple etc. not as perverted and demented as I was expecting but it was 1975. The sex scenes reminded me of those soft core porn they used to show on channel 4. But I still enjoyed it. 7/10

I actually liked Dawn better than Rise when i saw it at the cinema, I know Rise has all the emotional context etc.
But Dawn has Apes on horseback, actual "Planet' sounding moments on the music track, a psycho ape and a big battle scene, I really like Rise too, but i enjoyed Dawn more.:) :pop2:

My first nunsploitation film.

If you liked that one, (which i still haven't seen.)
I'd recommend 'The other hell' (not as much sex but totally mental.), 'The School of the holy beast' (japanese and really good i thought) and the Mother Superior of nunsploitation 'The Devils.' :):pop2:

I would certainly sign any petition. I really like exorcist 3 and would be more than happy to see the original cut. We got ninth configuration eventually so there is hope....

The Good Die Young (1954)

Intriguing but slow moving, at least for the first hour, British thriller about four men from disparate backgrounds who end up meeting over time in the local pub and constructing the idea for a heist on the post office.

An all star cast including Laurence Harvey, Gloria Grahame, Joan Collins, Stanley Baker and Richard Basehart, keep the viewers attention even when the film becomes more melodrama than crime film. The script cleverly merges four plot lines into one during the final third before it all ends in a bloody shootout at Heathrow airport.

The stories are nicely juggled by top British director Lewis Gilbert and come the conclusion The Good Die Young is a satisfyingly enjoyable ride.

The Flashpoint Paradox

after stopping an attack on the flash museum by the rouges gallery and a plot by the reverse flash to destroy it and most of the city along with it. Barry Allen finds himself in alternate world were his mother is still alive, but this is the only good news in this reality. the world is on the brink of destruction with the Amazons and the Atlanteans at war.

Barry no longer has any powers, so he seeks out the one man who can help him batman, but this is not the batman he knows. Bruce was killed that fateful night and his father Thomas Wayne survived and became Batman, but a more brutal batman that uses firearms and is willing to kill. there also other changes both wonder-woman and aquaman are brutal killers with very little regard for human life, Wonder woman is so full of hate for the world of man that she feels no remorse in killing a child (captain marvel in his child form). superman never landed in smallville, his ship crashed in metropolis causing a explosion that killed millions and since then has been locked away and experiment on by the government. Hal Jordan never became the green lantern. so its up to Barry with the help of Batman to get his powers back and try figure out how this happened and set things right. very brutal in places. 9/10
