I heard a rumour that it's been so successful they're going to put part 3 out on the big screen... Should be interesting...

Yeah I heard that as well.Hopefully they can make it a lot better than The Tribe.I did a search for the alternate endings of The Tribe on youtube and found some clips of The two Corey's reality show of them filming Haim's cameo.Cory Haim was out of his face on prescription drugs when he filmed it because he was so nervous!

I never liked Corey Haim... I was always a Feldman girl. Despite poor reviews I'll have to be watching it anyway - out of compulsion if nothing else. I love The Lost Boys... Brilliant film! Shame the sequels getting iffy reviews (despite being successful - bizarre!) :ack:

The Bad Chop Suey is bizarre and funny (if not a little offensive to Chinese people).

Can you explain the ending? Is it a response to the theory that only 'slutty girls' get punished for sex? Instead it's the guy who gets punished for sex - after complaining that his girlfriend is making too much noise during sex - another hiliarious scene.

This film falls into the so bad it's good category :)

Picked up a couple of dvd's from the big Zavvi sale yesterday.

The Dark
Irreversible I've yet to see this, been meaning to for a long time now
Barbarella :D
Dead Silence

Watched 'Dead Silence' last night, it was alright. It had it's moments but I was slightly disappointed. It was kind of cool that the dummy was called Billy and resembled the other Billy. Nice little Saw reference.

I also recently bought 'The Video Dead' on vhs which arrived this morning :woot: (set me back almost 15 quid though :ack:) I'll be watching that tonight, can't wait.

I thought Irreversible was an excellent film. There was never any chance whatsoever of the BBFC cutting it. Even so I can't see it ever turning up on TV.

Have you seen Baise Moi, Angel?

"Irreversible" is brilliant, just as Angel said! It's designed to make u feel sick - ie. the music, the camera, blah blah blah. You'll enjoy it - if u can stomach it ;)

I've recently gone a little 'Amityville Horror' craaazy! Watched both the original and the remake last night. The original was very good - although not completly true to the TRUE (IMO!) story it is quite loyal. But as for the remake, I have 3 letters to sum that film up; W and T and F! WTF! Nothing and I mean NOTHING is true in that film - they even got the house number wrong! As I said WTF.

So I'd say READ the BOOK! It is the scariest book I've ever read - I've never felt scared when reading b4. Does anyone else believe this? I know that ppl find human monsters - ie. in Scream or Friday The 13th scary - but I find the supernatural A HELL OF A LOT SCARIER!!!!!!!! Ghosts, demons, witches (sometimes), spirits, poltergiests!

They give me the hebbie-jebbies!

Oh yeh, the DVD I have of the original has a really good commentary and in it he talks about what he says is the 'truth' about death. Says heaven and hell are just fantasies - when u die your spirit goes into a parellel universe or something and if u wanna go back you have to speak to a "clerk" (his words) and you'll be reincarnated into this world. Really interesting stuff.

I'm with you on that one, I could watch films with people getting disembowled and chopped to pieces and what not for hours and not be affected in the slightest, however, put something on about the supernatural and i'll be reduced to a trembling wreck (:D OK, slight exaggeration, i'm not that bad) but it freaks me out. I find that stuff much scarier. I'm kind of a wuss when it comes to ghosts and stuff, I saw The Grudge at the cinema and was terrified
