Thanks. I won't. That's the problem with seeing things on shop shelves. They begin to appeal beyond my better judgment.

Tell me about it  I saw it in the '2 for...' offer in HMV earlier and even though I've seen it and know it's crap I still thought about it, sense prevailed though...

If i want to watch Firestarter i should just watch my unwatched and shrink wrapped limited edition of the original film that was released by Plan B entertainment a few years ago.

Deathstalker. 1983.

A lone warrior is sent on a quest by a old witch to get a sword, a chalice and a amulet that is held by a evil king and wizard who rules the land.

Did Roger Corman watch Conan and think "I can do a film like that on a lower budget and turn it into a classic, just how can I get to be appealing...oh I know...boobies".

Medieval fantasy movies seemed to be the thing of the 80s, the hero goes on a quest, meets up with people along the way, gets sidetracked a bit with a gladiator type tournament and then remembers why he is there. As bad as it sounds this was actually decent than I remembered it, Stuck it on infront of the Mrs and all got was "was that it" at the end so definitely a guy's film.

I didn't realise the new Blu was out yet. Has it just hit stores this week?

Just had a look. It did come out on Monday via 101 Films. Thought it was imminent.

Turbulence 2: Fear Of Flying. 1999.

A group of people with the fear of flying try to overcome by taking a plane ride that is hijacked by a group of terrorists with a chemical weapon on board.

This is no where near as good than the first film, Craig Sheffer, Tom Berenger, Jennifer Beals are the only actors I recognise in this and behind the scenes it was badly written they threatened to strike over it but they were overruled. They do try and make it work. Being a fan of Tom Berenger he does make a decent radio control tower operator. Craig Sheffer plays one of the group who has a fear and also knows the ins and outs of a jumbo jet.

There is some tense moments but really not best played out, visual effects of a man falling throw the sky is a bit laughable and everyone tries their best with what they are working with.
