Earlier on I watched Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired and Alex Gibney's film Taxi to the Dark Side which are both absolutely superb documentaries and, if not completely au fait with the Polanski situation, that documentary really is required watching as you look at him in a different light afterwards.

I must be honest and say that, when I watched it, I didn't which is unusual for me as I'm normally pretty good with trick endings.

Watched Top Secret! tonight - not as good as I remember it. In fact, some of it was really unfunny. Still it had it's moments, but it's no Airplane/Hot Shots or Naked Gun, that's for sure.

i love Top Secret, it's just ridiculous fun.... although why they have 60s beach style song in a film set during WW2 is beyond me

Never seen it but think Val Kilmer is a decent actor. Can't even imagine him in a slapstick role though :p

I watched Haunting In Connecticut on bluray last night. Think its a very effective haunted house story. It has a decent bluray release. There are some inexplicably grainy scenes but for the most part it has very solid colours and a pristine picture! Worth it for a fiver from cex!

I know it's not quite a slapstick role, but I thought he was great in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang playing what was really a comedic role.

Totally agree. He's great in that film - so funny.
