Ooh that's supposed to be a ****ed up one indeed. Prompted walk outs at the Melbourne Underground Film Festival, and while not banned or cut in Australia, all retailers refuse to stock it.

So the distribution company are certainly having fun advertising about how nasty it is supposedly.

This Special Edition DVD includes an introduction by the director and an exclusive, never seen before, "making of" the infamous baby scene that was banned by British censors.


So they can't show you the scene but they can show how they did it.

It does but another 5-10 years and perhaps it'll pass uncut. Look at the Vipco CH DVD vs the Shameless version. This making of is almost like a prelude and hopefully will be of help to those decision makers that struggle to separate fantasy from reality.

I'm not sure it will because those who watch and certify films already know the difference and will watch the making of separately from the film – if the same people watch the film and extra features. They tend to say they are acting on behalf of those who watch films and, to use your phrase, may not be able to separate fantasy from reality.

I don't doubt it will be available uncut in the near future, but not for the reasons you mentioned above, so we do agree!
