Latest additions to my collection. So stoked to finally get the MGM release of Clownhouse!
I actually wanted the film anyway as i remember renting it when i was a kid but after i found out it got pulled due to the paedo director controversy, making it a rare dvd, i wanted it even more, lol.
I won it on ebay for £13.50 with £1.20 packaging, WTF?! Super bargain in my eyes! Strangely enough that means i ended up paying more for the other German release of it, lol.
Synapse's release of Maniac Cop has been on my to get list forever as well so that's a great addition to my little Synapse collection too. :)

Nice! I actually prefer the cover art on that way more than this MGM one. :)

Found some pics on my pc of part of my collection. Well two shelves actually. The rooms too small to get the full floor to ceiling shots.

bdc 23rd May 2013 04:33 PM

Very nice Dem! :thumb:

Linbro 23rd May 2013 09:40 PM

Dem, what's the 'Survival Kit', bottom right of middle pic?

Oh the shelves are there. I'd have to take a lot of pics to show them all as i can't stand far enough away to take each wall floor to ceiling.

The only parts of the room without discs are the window and the door. :mmph:

Slippery Jack 23rd May 2013 10:41 PM

Bet it's a bastard if you want a watch a film from the bottom of the stack! I'd never pile up my dvds like that, though I suppose needs must when it comes to space saving . . .

I have steps. Its actually quite straightforward. They are broken up by 6 shelves so its not too bad at all.

bizarre_eye@Cult Labs 23rd May 2013 11:52 PM

A mighty impressive collection, Dem. :thumb:

Always wanted to get the Red Cross edition but it's alot of money to upgrade a box.

Nice collection!

Demdike@Cult Labs 24th May 2013 10:37 AM

Thanks guys.

Its inspiring me to take proper pics of the rest now.

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 24th May 2013 10:44 AM

You have an excellent collection, Demdike. If I didn't file my DVDs in drawers and my BDs in CD wallets, I'd also need a sizeable room with floor-to-ceiling shelves to accommodate them all.

Thanks. No, I have interchangeable frames so I can change them out whenever I want. I got this one on the cheap because it was kind of in rough condition. I straightened it out the best I could but it still has some wrinkling and wear.

I have three large IKEA frames and three smaller ones and swap the posters around fairly frequently. I have two full-size custom framed Exorcist posters (the US theatrical and the Japanese one), which are frequently in rotation and one of which is normally on display.

Very cool. Any pics?

I love having the option to swap my one sheets out seeing as I have so many. I want to find a book with sleeves so I can file them by the year they were released.

No, but I and will try and take some next time I 'redecorate'.

Refused 24th May 2013 07:54 PM

I really need to get a frame for my 13 Assassins poster, but I can't find anything to accommodate a quad poster for a decent prize.
I do have a Class of Nuke 'Em High 2 one sheet framed, although even the largest frame in Ikea was a tiny amount too small.

Do never cut towards youself, woman! Trust me you don't want to die while opening a package with stuff like that

bdc 26th May 2013 09:00 AM

Nice to se you again Sammy, some very nice editions there and of course the signed ones are even better! :thumb:

Awesome Hoverboard replica you got there, great addition to your BTTF collection! :)

Btw I can't play your videos (can see them but they won't play) on here but I managed to do a work around by quoting and getting the codes to watch them on youtube.

It may have something to do with the video code you use.
Just pasting the complete url without anything else should do the trick, don't know if you can still edit your post though. ;)

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 26th May 2013 10:58 AM

Great to see you back, Sammy – especially with such cool signed stuff and that amazing hovel board.
