Nice review as always Bros.Wilson!

Michael Reeves-a young,waste of talent.

Would have been VERY interesting to see what else he came up with.

Any suggestions? Go ahead!

I found a nice artwork for The She-Beast. It's from Italy. Those guys down there must love the word "SATAN" - as they also used it for The Sorcerers.

Greetings!

Power supply lines to and fro - the title image of The Witchfinder General is epic.

Those could be a very tall peasant's washing lines, or very very small bunting to welcome the witchfinder. ha ha ha, good find.

They aren't power lines. Its grain.

If you analyse that frame in comparison with the French, Dutch, Korean, Spanish, Portugese, Icelandic, Danish, Flemish, German, Haitian, Greek, Chilean, Vietnamese, Japanese, Congolese, Australian, Chinese, Russian, Polish, Uruguayan, Paraguayan, Ghanain, Gambian, Ivorian, Italian, Swiss, Czech, Bratislavan, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian and Burmese releases, you will notice the obvious flaws in Optimum's release.

So is the movie called Matthew Hopkins - Witchfinder General, as Kim Newman refers to it in his Nightmare Movies book, or just plain Witchfinder General?

IMDB list this: "Matthew Hopkins: Witchfinder General UK (complete title)" (Witchfinder General (1968) - Release dates)

So Newman used the unusual, but very correct complete title.

Cool

Pretty sure Reeves wanted 'Matthew Hopkins' in the title.

What would a Michael Reeves Slasher flick have looked like? Any ideas?

Greetings!
