It has the original Franco (the one to watch) and the later (with Rollin zombie inserts) versions.
The "Alternate Erotic Footage" included as a bonus was filmed to market this as a "harder film" than it originally was,it doesn't fit the film at all.

It's a very dreamlike film,not a traditional zombie film but it deals with the undead.

Here's a review of the blu,might pick it up myself.

If it's like the other Jess Franco titles from Redemption/Kino, the BD will be excellent and the film uncut.

Thanks for the advice think I will pick it up, only seen oasis of the zombies by Franco and thought that was pretty terrible but have his Jack the Ripper to watch.

It's a lot better than Oasis of the Living Dead though, admittedly, that isn't hard!

Oasis is terrible.
But it's just one of the many films Franco made very quickly,I doubt he enjoyed making that one.
Virgin is probably one of my favourite Franco films and I think he enjoyed making that one.

It makes the purchase any more of a must, the cheapest A Virgin among the Living Dead is going for an Amazon marketplace is £15.99 plus postage!
