I didn't bother reading that because the title says he stars in horrifically awful movies which is utter bollocks for a start.

The likes of Mum and Dad, Color out of Space, Mandy, Willy's Wonderland, Pig and the upcoming Prisoners of the Ghostland (Opening next week) have all been highly acclaimed whilst less acclaimed recent ones like Primal and Grand Isle i've found very enjoyable.

Everyone knows Cage went wild during the 00's buying islands and German castles, however his roles and movies these last five or six years have been on the whole very good.

I haven’t seen many of his new films but tbh some of his straight to dvd vod films seem to becoming more popular and cult than a some of his well know mainstreams ones, and when articles refer to his awful films their mainly implying about his performance is stuff like wickerman remake, but just about every actor will appear in one or two duff films no matter how good or famous they are.

I was completely unaware of Pig until you made the flippant comment about the premise – I then googled it to find out whether you were joking or making a sarcastic comment about a real film!

Having seen the trailer and read some of the review headlines, I am also looking forward to seeing it, though I'm not sure whether that at the cinema or not.

'The Matrix: Resurrections' - December 2021

Nosferatu@Cult Labs 9th September 2021 03:24 PM

There is either no Morpheus or they've recast Morpheus with someone younger and slimmer (no offence, Mr Fishburne!), and somehow Neo/Thomas and Trinity are in it despite dying in The Matrix Revolutions.

It'll be interesting to see how the film fits into the original trilogy and canonical online game, where Morpheus was killed.

Looks like a CGI shitfest to me.

Hence why old school practical effects work better, would chest bursting scene from aliens , or lose of hands during chest Defibrillation in the thing, or Basket case be as good if it was cgi, doubt it.

The best cinema in town is Vue and tickets are £5. As a wheelchair user, I have the choice of the private box at the back one of the spaces at the front.

Either way, (apart from the person who has gone with me) I'm not going to be close to someone else and it's normally very quiet during school hours.

‘Lost Boys’ reboot in the works
THR reports that Warner Bros. is gearing up for brand new, reimagined take on the 1980s teen vampire classic ‘The Lost Boy’s.

Noah Jupe (A Quiet Place), and Jaeden Martell (IT) are reported to star. Randy McKinnon, who is already working on Warner/DC’s Static Shock project, will write the new Lost Boys with Jonathan Entwistle on board to direct. Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger will produce via their Automatik banner.

The original Lost Boys was a horror-comedy that told of two brothers who, along with their newly divorced mother to a California beach town that, the pair soon discovers, is being terrorized by a stylish vampire biker gang. Also taking bites from scenes were a pair of comic book-loving brothers who thought themselves as vampire hunters. The movie, released in 1987, was directed by Joel Schumacher and starred Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz, Alex Winter, plus Corey Feldman and Corey Haim. Bringing up the age bracket were adults Dianne Wiest, Bernard Hughes, and Edward Herrmann. A TV adaption was at one point in the works at The CW.
