To busy making out with Steve Trevor, she has been stuck on an island without men for thousands of years!

That's what I've always thought . I don't think its ever been mentioned the comics but it has to be a given that they will have sex with each other.

To answer the other question about Hitler etc there usually is someone or something more dangerous

I'm a huge fan of the film The Orphanage and, to a lesser extent, thought The Impossible was extremely good, so I am really looking forward to watching J. A. Bayona's new film, A Monster Calls.

I'm not sure whether to read the book before watching the film or not. I read A Street Cat Named Bob before watching the film, only to find it was based on that book and the next one, The World According to Bob. As such, I was comparing some scenes to the source material and wondering where other parts of the screenplay came from!

Similarly, I really liked The Girl on the Train, but hadn't read the book. Those I know who read the book before seeing the film were either nonplussed with the adaptation or didn't like it at all. The only one I know who doesn't fit into either category is my Mum, who has managed to mentally separate the two and treat them as completely different pieces of work.

There are pros and cons to the order in which you read a book and watch a film or TV series based on the book because, on one hand, you compare the visuals to the source material and, on the other, you read the book with certain actors in mind for the characters and locations for those described in the source material. I think there is a "right way" and it can change from book to book and film to film.
