Ridiculous and very sleazy but I did quite like it, I have to wonder though, is this what turns the straights on?? Those boobs, and they're everywhere, one of them even had an extra pierced nipple haha!

The script was terrible and the direction was tonally weird so I couldn't possibly score it any higher than average but the overall story was fun. Corey Feldman started to get on my nerves very early in the film so I was glad when it turned out that he was only going to have around 15 mins screen time max!

Another crossed off the un-watched list though, I used to see the cover of this one in the video shop all of the time but I never did get around to renting it.

A lonely mans life changes when he meets a girl from his old school, he becomes obsessed with her and then decides to kidnap and cage her.
Started off kinda dull I was about to turn it off after 20 minutes, glad I never. Didn't expect what happened to happen.

THE LONG ISLAND CANNIBAL MASSACRE – I always think of Nathan Schiff as one of the microbudget pioneers, in the sense that there’s a whole substratum of horror made by fans rather than by full-on cineastes, underground provocateurs or people looking for a break. Whether that view holds up or not, there’s a very strong sense that Schiff’s films, if not the first of their kind, are at least unique. They practically define the ‘back yard epic’, for that’s almost literally what they are. TLICM is probably the strongest of his first three films. It starts with a guy who sets out to uncover the mystery of a corpse he finds on a beach, and ends up as an ode to another man’s tainted relationship with his father, an actual monster with a head not unlike a huge green rubber turd. Along the way we see lots of delicious 8mm sunsets and windswept wasteland, all of which sets the picturesque scene for some pretty icky gore. Performances are wooden to the point where they seem deliberately comedic; I don’t think they’re intended to come across that way, although one slightly off-putting aspect of TLICM is the sense that you’re seeing someone’s mates hanging out and having a laugh. A couple of other things take me out of TLICM a little, like the omnipresent, screechy library music; again, you could call it charm. But there are some absolutely wonderful sequences, like the one where the main psycho has a conversation with a bagful of remains that starts crying ‘tears of blood’, or the whole left turn into twisted psychodrama with its chainsaw-facilitated conclusion, not to mention the startling image at the end, when the father’s brood gets to chow down. Who in their right minds saw that coming?

Halloween at Aunt Ethel's (2019)

Generic comedy horror that's neither horror nor funny. Notable only for every female cast member (aside from old Aunt Ethel, thankfully) getting their kit off and a single scene where Ethel removes a guys cock then proceeds to slap him around the face with it.

The Devil's Rejects (2005)

It takes some skill and craft that a movie that features the most reprehensible people committing the most reprehensible acts that by the finale of said movie you are actually rooting for and genuinely care for these people.

The Firefly clan - Captain Spaulding, Otis and Baby - are probably the ultimate in cinematic antiheroes.

SOV horror from the men behind Deadly Prey and Killer Workout, so you know what to expect. What I didn't expect is a flick that makes Things look like an avant masterpiece ahem. A group of clods pardy down, sadly wrong place, wrong time this time folks! The muffled dialogue, the longeurs , the ... interesting death scenes :rolleyes:
It all adds up. But as a Manos fan, I cannot pretend to cater to others taste :lol:

Halloween III: Season Of The Witch.

A doctor on call gets involved in a apparent murder-suicide which the daughter of the man killed teams up with the doctor and goes to a town where a toy maker plans to kill using Halloween Masks and a ancient ritual.

How can one film I hated growing up become a total gem, Dan O'Herlihy plays Conrad Cochran the genius toy maker who plans a spectacular phenomenon on halloween with a advert and kids to be wearing their masks. Tom Atkins plays the doctor Daniel Challis who gets involved in the mystery of the man carrying a mask and Stacey Nelkin as Ellie the daughter of the man killed. The story does seem a bit far fetched using Stonehenge as a metaphor for the evil plan but that can be forgiven as the film does have it's suspenseful moments and great visual effects.

Halloween III - Season of the Witch. A bizarre murder/suicide sees a shaken doctor team up with the daughter of the murdered man to investigate the strange event, an investigation that leads to a small town that plays host to "Silver Shamrock", a novelty toy company that specialise in Halloween masks - and an insane toymaker with devilish plans for American children on Halloween night. The third in the Halloween franchise, which famously - or infamously - eschews the usual Michael Myers slasher shenanigans in favour of a standalone sci-fi/supernatural horror hybrid, is still a genuinely good film in its own right, with a compellingly nightmarish atmosphere. :nod:
