Cursed Film: Stalker. Surviving crew members talk about Andrei Tarkovsky's 1979 film Stalker and how excited he was at making this movie yet it came with problems. Filming was due to start 1976 in a small town, but was hit by a earthquake and had to relocate to Eastonia. 6 weeks into filming there was a problem between the director and cinematographer, the reels were damaged and had to re-shoot scenes with half the budget. Tarkovsky suffered a heart attack during filming then some cast and crew became sick from polluted water. I have never seen this movie but after seeing this documentary about it has me intrigued, there was a crew member showing the areas that were used in the film and still re-enacts them like the film was only made yesterday.

A Creepshow Animated Special. Survivor Type. A doctor and drug smuggler marooned on a desert island and will do anything to survive including hacking off his own limbs. Twittering From The Circus Of The Dead. A young girl on a road trip with her family stop off at a circus with a difference. This was something different but the first segment did make me cringe a bit, the second segment wasn't too bad and takes a bit of a twist. Kiefer Sutherland voices the stranded doctor doing a one man monologue. The second is a young girl on a boring road trip and making a stop in the middle of nowhere which seems to be a laugh until the horror begins. Stephen King and his son Joe both have good creative imaginations and still entertain. Creepshow-Animated-Header.jpg

Cursed Film: The Serpent And The Rainbow. A insight into how Wade Davis found the inspiration for the story and Wes Craven was brought on board to direct the film and went to Haiti and witnessed a actual voodoo ceremony for blessing only for a film assistant to believe he was cursed and left the project and Bill Pullman believed he felt there was something going on. There was a slight of a rebellion with the extras on set as 1500 were paid and more than 4000 people turned up. This was interesting to watch and hear the stories from the cast and some film crew about this film.
