Yep it was. They upgraded it by 1 year to the 15. The first 'AA' I ever saw was Every Which Way But Loose (I think).

I enjoyed Prince Of Darkness and still think it has a charm today. Seems to be a film that equally divides people though.

I like Prince of Darkness too, I got the Momentum disc which isn't bad at all apart from the horrendous cover.I always thought the dream/telepathy sequence was quite scary.

Same here. The cover is atrocious. The old cinema/video design was far better.

People tend to either love the film or hate it. I thoroughly enjoyed it and both the music and general atmosphere are outright creepy.

Fake looking head pops out of breached, submerged hull and scares Richard Dreyfuss in Jaws. I was six, I left the chair and bruised my Coccyx.

The only thing that's frightening me more is Dreyfuss in Mr Holland's Opus. Truly horrific!

I was about 8 when I saw Jaws on the cinema. An experience never to be forgotten.

One of Dreyfuss's best films was the brutally bizarre Inserts.

With The Shining it was more one scene that scared the crap out of me as a kid this one.

I've posted this elsewhere before, but it's definitely Pet Sematary for me, particularly the character of Zelda, still freaks me out now 20 odd years later, meaning I only watch it during the day

Don't know what it is about this scene that freaks me out so much, when I first read King's original novel at 11 years old, it didn't scare me all that much, but the following year when I rented the film with a mate(via his babysitter, who also rented us A Nightmare on Elm St the same night ), it scared the crap out of me and that first viewing has stuck with me ever since
