DON'T GO IN THE WOODS is another backwoods slasher I love.Although it's critically slated everywhere,it definetly falls into the 'So bad,it's good' category.
It's totally bonkers.....
The guy up a mountainside in a wheelchair is hilarious.....

big fan of cropsy from the burning 1st time i watched the burning was with a few buddys when the boat scene happened we were like wtf hes not in the boat is he? bosh gore galore ,its a shame the comentry on the mgm dvd is so boring.I also like madman mars from madman awful movie but hes got mad axe skills,im with reaps dont go in the woods is great,i cant see why its hated so much

Exactly.
It's a non-stop splatterfest,it never lets up from start to finish.
Cropsy is an all time classic slasher character.

Anyone seen a Canadian backwoods slasher callled Rituals? It's supposed to be quite good - never seen it though.

i have a bootleg of it,the rare uncut version(was rare 2 years ago)i think its out on dvd now but not sure if its uncut,its ok a bit like Deliverance,4/5 middle aged dudes go on a camping trip and run in to a madman and his brother that live in a shack ,no gore to speak of but its good if u like messed up hillbilly films,my copys not the best it looks like its from a old 8mm

Rituals is enjoyable stuff. The idea of 5 middle aged men (one of them Hal Holbrook) being the victims is novel, and it's well worth checking out.

The German DVD is uncut.

The German DVD is uncut, though it has burnt-in subtitles and a VHS-quality print.
